Beyond Paradise Nursery is a family-owned business that recently celebrated it's 1st year anniversary since the grand opening of its new 14-acre location at 23920 FM 2978 in Tomball. The company's president, Luis Diaz, and his family have a long history of planting and growing trees, dating back to his childhood. His father, Humberto Diaz, started a tree service business in Tomball with the intention of growing and selling trees, which eventually evolved into a successful tree farm.
After relocating to Cypress in 2005, the desire to return to Tomball never faded, and in 2004, Diaz purchased the land where the current location sits with the intention of opening a garden center. Finally, after years of planning and development, the Tomball location opened its doors to the public on March 18, 2022, offering a wide range of plants and products, including annuals, perennials, tropicals, trees, insecticides, fertilizers, mulch, stones, and more.
One of the standout features of the new location is the two-story building made of recycled shipping containers, which serves as the centerpiece of the facility and draws the attention of passersby. The unique structure was designed by Diaz and a friend who is a welder, and it reflects his passion for eco-friendliness and modern design.
Relocating the business to Tomball was a natural decision for the family, who have lived in the area for nearly three decades. Beyond Paradise Nursery aims to create a park-like environment on the property, making it an ideal destination for both homeowners and landscapers. With their commitment to quality, customer service, and environmentally sustainable practices, Beyond Paradise Nursery is poised to become a leading player in the horticulture industry in Tomball and beyond.
